Code of Conduct Contract as members of the NE Region Junior Achievers (NEJA)

I understand that I will be expected to abide by the TICA rules.

I understand that I will be expected to show my own cat.  I may need help in a ring or two, but will be responsible for showing and handling my entry.

I understand that if I do not handle my own entry, my parents will be expected to

pay the difference between the JA entry and regular entry and will not be able to participate in the Junior Ring.

I understand that I will be expected to conduct myself at cat shows in a positive and proper way.  That means no running, shouting, horseplay, pranks, or leaving the show hall for extended periods of time.

I understand that my mentor, JA Liaison and other JA support staff are important to the JA program and will require my time/presence for clinics and other events.  I also understand that the JA mentors, Liaison, and support staff are not responsible for me.  The JA staff are not babysitters or personal entertainers.  I also understand that the adults want to share some of their time with me, but would also like to show and be a part of the show and will limit the time that I am at their benching areas and requiring their attention.

I understand that if I am found by an adult not showing my entry, violating any show rule, running in the hall or causing problems that it can be written up and added to my file and it will be considered a warning.  These warnings can be at the same show or subsequent shows.  The letters will remain in the file and 3 will result in probation.  I understand after 3 warnings, I will be put on probation for 3 three shows and not be considered a Junior Achiever at those shows.  I will not be able to get the discounted entry or participate in the Junior Ring.  If during those three months, I get another written warning, I will be permanently banned from the NEJA program and my name will be removed from the membership.  Further I understand that if after I successfully finish the 3 months probation, I get two more warnings, and I will be permanently banned from the NEJA program.
